Moorefield Excavating
Begun by Bill Roubos, Moorefield Excavating was incorporated in 1991. We’ve steadily grown from our first piece of equipment to a company with a full range of earthmoving and pipe-laying equipment capable of taking on a wide range of projects in Midwestern Ontario.
Initially, most of our work was on a per hour basis. However, we quickly grew into civil construction and predominantly tendered construction work, but have actively sought to maintain our small-town commitment to service and community.
In 2010, the company transitioned from Bill to sons Jerry (President) and Hans (Director), as well as John Landman (Secretary / Treasurer).
Team
Our employees—typically about 50—are the backbone of our success and operations, and we focus on an engaged, qualified team. Our experienced site supervisors and foremen are ensure project success and quality control. They also work closely with project engineers and on-site inspectors to ensure all required specifications are met.

We deeply value the excellent relationships we’ve built over the years, while continuing to forge new relationships in new communities. It is our sincere belief that all work can—and will—be done in a safe and efficient manner that results in a quality product.
